Foi com estupefacção que recebemos a V/ resposta relativamente a um defeito detectado num produto adquirido.
Daquilo que se nos é dado a perceber, o facto de comprar um baú torto nas V/ lojas é algo que pode acontecer e, se bem teremos entendido, será até uma sorte, porque revela que o artigo em questão [foi] produzido através de processos artesanais que [permitiu] a criação de [uma peça única e original], sendo as variações consideradas sinónimo de qualidade e autenticidade.
Existe todavia um pequeno problema: a N/ intenção era comprar um baú direito, conforme exposto na loja, o que, aliás, aconteceu - por mero azar, segundo a interpretação de V. Exas. - com o outro que temos a infelicidade de ter em casa.
Não se tratando pois de um monumento da região italiana de Pisa ou de uma relíquia do século passado (realçamos que se trata de um baú com tecido colorido, por se entender que poderá ser pertinente na análise da presente questão), estamos em crer que seria normal ao adquirir o mesmo poder exigir que tal fosse feito em condições normais, i.e., sem estar torto e disforme.
Aproveitamos o ensejo para perguntar, até porque a resposta poderá condicionar uma deslocação às V/ instalações no futuro: se, por exemplo, comprar uma cama numa qualquer loja Area e a mesma for entregue sem uma das pernas (ou até torta se formos mesmo afortunados) será isso sinónimo, além de sorte, claro está, de qualidade e autenticidade, em virtude do artigo em questão ser produzido através de processos artesanais que permitem a criação de peças únicas e originais?
Posto tudo quanto antecede, cordialmente solicitamos a reapreciação da rejeição de troca do produto em causa. Uma resposta em sentido negativo obrigará a que se se proceda à exposição da mesma junta da própria marca 'Area', para os efeitos tidos como convenientes, junto da DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a defesa dos consumidores e, eventualmente, junto do membro do Governo responsável pelo sector do turismo, a quem compete a tutela dos jogos de fortuna ou azar (i.e., a compra de peças de mobiliário e/ou decoração nas lojas 'Area'), nos termos e para os efeitos do Decreto-Lei n.º 422/89, de 2 de Dezembro (Lei do Jogo), excepto, claro está, se a Area tiver já recebido a competente licença para este efeito.
Se, ainda assim e completados que estejam todos os passos indicados, não for possível trocar a peça de mobiliário em causa, pedimos para que seja, desde já, considerada a possibilidade de ser trocado o baú direito por um torto, de forma a, por um lado, combinarem melhor, e, por outro lado, permitir que nos vangloriemos de tal feito junto de todas as visitas que frequentem a N/ habitação, podendo até, num futuro próximo, ponderar transformar tal espaço num local de culto (quiçá, um museu) para todos os amantes dos processos artesanais e dos baús disformes.
